Seniors & Adults
I’ve been teaching a group of Senior Citizens for the past 12 years. We used to meet in a senior center, but have moved to a well equipped studio in Awbury Recreation Center on Ardleigh Street in Germantown, PA. The students’ interests and skills are at all different levels. Some make pots, some pursue sculpture. Some are beginners and some are exhibiting artists. But we all share the common bond of joy in working with clay as well as looking forward to each others’ company each week. The classes are three hours long and meet on Wednesdays, 1-4pm, and are now open to all ages. Contact me for class schedules and fees.
I also teach adult classes and workshops at The Clay Studio in Old City in Philadelphia. My students range from beginning to advanced, in handbuilding and wheel throwing.
